Studies have shown that project managers with formal project management training are better at up-front project planning, meeting project costs and schedules, satisfying customers, managing project risk, and bringing discipline to project execution. Increasingly, organizations are recognizing the value of the professional designation and requiring their managers attend formal project management training and become professionally certified.
Attaining the PMP® or CAPM® designation provides evidence of your professional accomplishments and enhances your opportunities for career advancement.
